I will provide the notes, examples, activities and directions needed to seamlessly follow through each lesson. The student will be encouraged to take notes as they move through the lessons as this will help them understand the examples and complete the puzzles, and I will respond to any questions that may be posted via Outschool messages. There will be 4 lessons, with each lesson being posted on Sundays by 12 noon (Eastern Standard Time) for families opting for weekly lessons. The goal will be to try and complete the entire lesson prior to the release of the next lesson, ensuring completion within 4 weeks time.

-use integer rules to simplify expressions with negative numbers
-use inverse operations to solve equations
-combine like terms in order to simplify expressions

It would be nice for students to have a three-ring binder in order to keep track of assignments and notes each week. I will provide a PDF via Outschool messages that will explain to students what needs to be for the week (objective, discussion question, notes and assessment). A calculator and graph paper would be nice items to have, however, when possible, I will suggest websites that may have the tools that a learner may need (example: online calculators).
