課堂經歷
In this one-time class, students will learn how to create a basic (beginner) friendship bracelet. Students will begin the class with some ice breaker activities which may require them to move around. Students will then discuss the materials needed for this lesson. Then students will learn some easy techniques for measuring the length of string in order to make an appropriate size bracelet. Students will receive an in-depth visual instruction on how to create a simple "spiral" knot friendship...
In this class the learning goals are: - Make a friendship bracelet - Have interactive discussions
I have over 10 years of experience as a Summer Camp Counselor where making friendship bracelets were key to making children feel safe and welcomed at camp. I personally continue to make friendship bracelets and jewelry in my spare time now because I love how relaxing it is, how challenging it can be, and the end product of a new bracelet.
For this class students will need to bring: - Embroidery string - 4 different colors - Scissors - Tape - Ruler - Clip Board (Optional)
