We will practice drawing using basic shapes and basic watercolor painting and drawing techniques to create a cheerful llama and scenic background. I teach using step by step instructions to make sure that each child is successful. Students are free to embellish and adjust the art to add their own creative touches. There is no previous experience needed for this one time class. Students will interact with the instructor as much as needed. They are free to ask questions and have conversations...
Students will be able to draw a cartoon style llama and an outdoor background scene by following directions and breaking complicated images down to basic shapes. Students will be able to use basic watercolor painting techniques. Students will use watercolor paints and supplies safely and correctly.
I am. certified visual arts educator and have been teaching the visual arts in schools for 13 years. I have a Bachelor's of Fine Arts degree.
