四月藝術：水彩畫神奇動物

My weekly animal watercolor painting class will be a great spin off of my original class, Watercolor Club. THIS class will focus JUST on animals! We will spend the first half of class sketching our animals using a step by step method through my top view camera. Students are encouraged to make any changes to their pictures to individualize them. This may be making them more cartoon style or more realistic, adding scenery, or anything else that pops up! We will then use our watercolors to create washes, create textures, blend colors, and experiment with all of the magical things watercolors can do to finish our animal paintings. 

I welcome some chatting in this class but also have times of focus and attention, to be sure all students learn and grow as artists. Muting of microphones will be utilized from time to time to ensure all can hear instructions clearly and everyone gets their turn to speak if they like. 

We will work rather small for this class, creating artworks that are about postcard size. Trimming or taping of paper may be necessary. Using smaller papers will allow us to draw and paint with much detail and keep to our time frame. Students are welcome to work larger if they can still keep up with the general pace of class.
