In this class, your child will learn what it means to have a conversation, what that looks and sounds like. Each week there will be a different conversational target skill they will learn so that they can learn how to become an effective communicator. This is a life skill that they will need throughout different stages and experiences in their lives. Students will demonstrate active listening, participate and contribute to a conversation by staying on topic for 1 minute.
As a bilingually certified Speech and Language therapist, I have worked with hundreds of students throughout my 18 years in the field on improving their social pragmatic language skills starting from Kindergarten-12th grade.
