Each week we will read a new "Amelia Bedelia" book by Herman Parish and talk about the different parts we like. I share the books on my screen so everyone can see the pictures and comment on all of the things that we notice. I encourage the students to make predictions about what will happen next and share their thoughts on the story. I will explain the idioms and expressions in context while I read the book. Students will be exposed to new vocabulary words and develop a love of reading by...
