In this fun and interactive ongoing class, we will learn about various art styles and artists. The topics will include painting techniques, drawing skills, watercolor resist art projects, patterns and repetition, color theory, and self-expression. Each week, we will create a new art project.

The class will begin with a brief introduction for new students. I will then present a picture or slideshow related to the art topic we will explore. I will also encourage students to ask any questions about their art materials before we start our projects. Students can choose to follow along with my demonstration or create their own unique artwork.

There will be plenty of opportunities for self-expression, and my teaching style is both enthusiastic and encouraging. I want students to use their imaginations to make art that they enjoy.

As we work on our projects, we will have many chances to share our artwork with one another. At the end of each class, learners will present their art to the group, and I will provide positive feedback on each student's work.

Supply List: Drawing paper, watercolor paper, watercolor paints, construction paper, markers, oil pastels or crayons, pencil, eraser, assorted brushes, fine tip Sharpie marker, scissors, glue.
