Recipes with amounts will be posted in the classroom for each week. 
Each Week- hot pads, rag/towel to clean up mess, measuring spoons and cups
Week 1: Brownies
flour, white sugar, eggs, butter, vanilla, cocoa powder
mixing bowl, microwave, beaters or whisk, rubber spatula, 9x9 baking dish, oven, hot pad
Week 2: Lemon Bars
flour, butter, powdered sugar, white sugar, eggs, lemon juice, baking powder, salt
mixing bowl, beaters or whisk, rubber spatula, 9x9 baking dish, oven, hot pad, fork
Week 3: Turtles
butter, flour, cocoa powder, eggs, white sugar, vanilla, sauce pan, waffle maker, fork, rubber spatula
Week 4: Cookies 
butter, brown sugar, white sugar, vanilla, egg, flour, salt, baking soda, chocolate chips 
(if wanted you can have any of the following to use as add ins: other flavor baking chips, oatmeal, cinnamon, cocoa powder, marshmallows...)

We will be cooking in this class. The use of several kitchen gadgets and the oven are needed. Please note that while I will be giving tips to avoid injury and burn there is that risk involved with this cooking class.
