In this 4 week class, beginning readers will review how to RECOGNIZE and SOUND OUT all 26 letters of the alphabet.  They will learn to BLEND letter sounds together.  They will learn to add a third letter and READ simple words.  Phonics instruction is crucial to a child's learning to read.  This class builds a solid foundation upon which to build on.

Once your child knows the letters, what's next?  

The next step in the reading process is learning how to "blend" letter sounds together.  

After that, you simply add a third sound at the end.  

Viola!  You're reading!  

What follows is practice, practice, practice!  

We will do all of these in our class time together.
