By popular demand, here is the first ever Ongoing Second Grade Jeopardy class!

I've found that Jeopardy is a great way to interact, practice speaking and social skills and gain confidence in a variety different subjects! We are going to play interactive Jeopardy. There will be multiple categories: Addition and Subtraction, Place Value, Multiplication, Reading, Science, Social Studies, etc. I will keep score and the winner will be announced at the end!

This class is great for after school or homeschoolers! My Jeopardy classes are a little different than what you might've seen on TV. I remember playing Jeopardy in school and feeling so anxious when it was my turn, because it took me a little longer to think of the answer. This is why in my classroom, we make sure to take turns to give each learner the time to process the question and find the correct answer. 

PLEASE NOTE: In our Second Grade Jeopardy, students will send me a private chat with their answer, so that every learner has the chance to answer every question!

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the time limit of this class, not every question will be answered.

A few examples of questions that will be asked are:
What is 15-9?
Round 332 to the nearest 100’s. 
What is 5x9?
Which word is spelled incorrectly?
What is the difference between a solid, liquid, or gas?
What is an example of a basic need?

*SCHEDULE REQUESTS*
I am currently able to respond directly to schedule requests! I check my requests daily and I will accommodate as many as I can!

*CLASS TIME*
All class times are approximate. Class length varies based on student ability and number of enrolled learners. Classes are designed so that they will not run longer than the time allotted.

*LATE/MISSED CLASS POLICY*
All courses will begin on time as long as one learner is in the classroom. In the event that no students are in the classroom at the assigned class time, the teacher will leave a message on the discussion board and exit after 10 min. Class recordings are available upon request. 

*MISSED ONGOING CLASSES*
Per Outschool policy, there are no refunds or credits for missed classes. As an ongoing class, the subscription holds your spot and prevents another learner from taking it. If you need to miss a class, please withdraw so that another learner can fill the slot if they wish. Recordings are posted as soon as they are available for absent students.

*REFUND/TRANSFER POLICY*
Per Outschool policy, there are no refunds or credits for missed classes. I will be glad to transfer your learner to another section but require 24 hours' notice. This timing is necessary in order to fill the spot you are vacating. If I transfer you on short notice, I may not be able to fill your original spot, which means you are taking up two spots but only paying for one.
