"We all have different gifts, so we all have different ways of saying to the world who we are." - Mister Rogers Over the course of his life, and television show, Fred Rogers gave the world countless special gifts, messages, and life lessons. His goal was to make every single person (especially children) feel special, loved, and heard. Sometimes, children have a difficult time conveying what they want to say, or finding ways to deal with their feelings or problems. As a teacher, I believe...
Students will learn about a new theme (friendship, kindness, anger, loneliness, disappointment, positivity, thankfulness, etc.) each week and discuss with the other students what it means. They will think about a time that they felt that way, or experienced this "theme" in their own life. Sometimes they will learn songs, or poems, featuring our topic of conversation. They will be encouraged to use this new knowledge and understanding at home.

At the end of each class, students are encouraged to take the printable PDF sent around by the teacher and add it to a collection (in a notebook, folder, frame, etc), so that at the end of the 8 weeks, they have 8 beautiful picture reminders of the lessons they learned.提供的評估
