In high school, I was only offered Spanish. I believe that taking foreign language classes opens the doors to many opportunities. My love for language has continued to grow and at university, I took Italian. I now give students the opportunity to learn a language that they are interested in and make learning fun.

In family terms, we do mention stepmother and stepfather. Not all students at this age know what that means. I will describe it as if one parent dies or divorces and then the other parent marries again. Even with my mentioning this, they might have questions for you, and you may want to talk to them about it if they don't understand it or have concerns.
