My class is meant for anyone who wants to learn Spanish in a useful way. Maybe you are frustrated that your children are not progressing after many years studying the language, they haven't been exposed to it a long time ago and lack fluency, or they have never learned a word of it.  In these 8 weeks, we will cover all the basic topics such as nouns, genders, regular and irregular verbs, common phrases, how introduce oneself, colors, numbers, animals, ... and much more!

Each class will focus on an independent topic and we will practice the vocabulary in useful and conversational ways. This class will give your children a chance to practice the vocabulary they know, learn new words, and learn how to use them in conversation. 

Here it is a more detailed class description: 
Class 1: We will learn some basic greetings and how to introduce ourselves. 
Class 2: We will learn the numbers and colors.
Class 3: We will learn the subject pronouns. 
Class 4: We will learn verb conjugation.
Class 5: We will learn the differences between 'ser' and 'estar'. 
Class 6: We will learn gender and number of nouns.
Class 7: We will learn some animals and how to say 'there is' and 'there are'
Class 8: We will practice everything we have learned in conversations. 

My main goal is to make students comfortable speaking basic Spanish. I intend to give them the tools to become independent learners by emphasizing active learning and motiving them to learn! 

The students will also have the opportunity to practice the class materials afterwards using an online Nearpod presentation. I will assign some homework after each class and I will review it and provide feedback to the students. 

Please Note:
*This is a foreign language class. While participation is not required it is a necessary element for student success. Please keep that in mind when enrolling.

*All classes will begin on time as long as there is at least one learner in the classroom. If 10 minutes after start time there are no students in the class the teacher will exit the classroom. This class cannot be taught with no students, so no recordings will be available for classes with zero attendance.
