Beginner 等級
In this flex class (no live meetings), students can complete the courses on their own schedule as many times as they like. Every lesson will include the reading of one children's book in a power point presentation and some vocabulary from the book. At the end of the lesson, there will be a song that will also have some vocabulary related to the song. All interaction will take place using the classroom. The teacher will be available to answer any questions through the Outschool classroom...
4 lessons//4 Weeks
Week 1Lesson 1Numbers and Farm AnimalsWe will learn about numbers and farm animals in Spanish through books and songs.Week 2Lesson 2ColorsWe will learn the colors in Spanish through books and songs.Week 3Lesson 3ShapesWe will learn different shapes in Spanish through books and songs.Week 4Lesson 4Greetings and OppositesWe will learn basic greetings and some 'opposite' words in Spanish through books and songs.
The students will get exposed to another language in a fun and engaging way. Books and songs help children to remember patterns and facilitate learning.
I am originally from Spain and I have two children that I am raising bilingual (soon tri-lingual). I strongly believe, as a neuroscientist, that exposure to another language before age 5 or 6 can make a huge difference in their brain development by increasing their ability to learn other languages in the future and become fluent.
This class has no live meetings. The students will need to spend 15 to 30 minutes every day watching the videos.
I recommend playing each one of the videos a couple of times per week.
