義大利文入門 1 簡介（靈活，4 週課程）

This course will teach introductory beginning Italian conversation basics including grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and oral dialogue.  I will cover topics of greetings and introductions such as how are you, what is your name, where are you from, what do you like, what is this/that, counting, colors, and other general phrases.  My class is taught with a recording using colorful illustrated slides showing Italian vocabulary with translations, oral conversation, repetition and alternating Italian and English in oral discourse with students.  My teaching style is engaging and fun with flexibility.  At the end of each video, there will be a fun interactive hide and reveal quiz game for students to interact with the teacher with oral response.

As a Flex class, students may pace their own learning based on the weekly recording provided.  For student to student engagement, I will lead weekly topic related discussions via posts in the Outschool classroom using  the new Italian vocabulary learned in the lesson.  As an example, students will practice their Italian vocabulary skills with each other in the Outschool classroom by posting introductions, answering a key lesson question, or responding to a common prompt related to a concept from the recording.   For reinforcement, students may rewatch and pause the videos as needed to develop their vocabulary and understanding of Italian.  Students will also receive access to the PowerPoint presentations used in class in a pdf. Learners do not need any prior experience.

4-Week Schedule

Week 1:  Greetings and introductions, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and oral practice for new speakers

Week 2:  Grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation on topics of greetings, what do you like to do, what do you like to eat or drink, food and drink vocabulary, counting, & colors

Week 3:  Grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation on topics of greetings, where are you from, how old are you, what do you do for a job, countries/nationalities, & counting 1-20

Week 4: Grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation on topics of greetings, travel vocabulary, names of important cities & sites in Italian, asking directions and tourist inquiries
