In this 1-time class, students will learn what improv is and play engaging theatre games to develop these skills: improv acting, public speaking, team-building, creative-thinking, active listening, and storytelling-- no experience required! Students will learn what improv is and how to be a successful improv performer. They will develop important life-skills such as working as a team, active listening, thinking creatively, and story-telling.
I am a professional theater director and performer with over 10 years of experience teaching theater to youth of all ages.
Students should have room to move around (approximately the space of a yoga mat or small rug, or larger). They should also be able to stand up and still be visible by the camera. If your student is unable to stand, that's okay, too! If your child has a disability or other needs, please message me before class so we can discuss how the games will be adapted for your learner.
