Dancers are welcome to wear a leotard and tights, their favorite dress-up costume, or moveable street clothes. Ballet shoes are recommended but bare feet are also welcomed! A distraction-free space where you can freely and safely move is also recommended, as well as having a water bottle close by.

Dance is a physical activity which should always be done with parental supervision. Dancing on a flat and uncluttered floor space is encouraged to help eliminate potential hazards. Having water close by and taking breaks when needed is also encouraged. If the child has a physical limitation or medical condition which is aggravated by movement, please consult a doctor before participating. 

Holiday themed classes will mention the “holiday season”, and I’ll welcome all students to share what they enjoy most about the holidays with their family. The history and/or any religious affiliations with a holiday will not be discussed in this class. Children will be encouraged to share how their individual families celebrate, with all interpretations being welcomed.
