Are you ready for a fang-tastic Halloween dinosaur adventure?! This course will be all about dinosaurs, fossil, & paleontology, but with a Halloween twist!! Learners will also meet our baby Spinosaurus named Paleo and see our exploding pumpkin volcano experiment. The class break down can be seen below. Halloween Dinosaur & Fossil Show • Welcome to the Science Lab Introduction • What is a Dinosaur 101 • How/Where do Fossil Form (What is Paleontology?) • Replica Fossils Visuals • Visit from Paleo the Happy Mummy King • Exploding Pumpkin Volcano Experiment • Question and Answer Session Learners are also encouraged to bring their favorite dinosaur toy or fossil to share with the group after class.
學習目標
Students will go back in time in order to increase their knowledge of prehistoric life by looking at all kinds of fossils. Learners should go away with an understanding of what a fossil is, how a fossil is formed and what makes a dinosaur a dinosaur.
