Are you ready for a Santa Claws Dinosaur Adventure?! This course is all about dinosaurs, fossil, & paleontology, but with a Christmas twist!! Learners will also meet our baby Spinosaurus named Paleo aka Santa Claws!! The class break down can be seen below. Santa Claws Workshop & Fossil Lesson • Welcome to the Science Lab Introduction • What is a Dinosaur 101 • How/Where do Fossil Form (What is Paleontology?) • Replica Fossils Visuals • Visit from Paleo the Santa Claws • Create your very own salt dough ornament • Question and Answer Session Learners are also encouraged to bring their favorite dinosaur toy or fossil to share with the group after class.

Students will go back in time in order to increase their knowledge of prehistoric life by looking at all kinds of fossils. Learners should go away with an understanding of what a fossil is, how a fossil is formed and what makes a dinosaur a dinosaur.
