In "Grammar Painting: Part 1," students had fun learning and applying 5 strategies to their writing to create "word paintings" in the reader's mind. In these three 1-hour classes, students will continue their learning of how to make their writing come alive by learning the art of "showing" their ideas to readers versus "telling" readers their ideas. Together, we will identify the pitfalls (and humor) of using "telling" words, phrases and sentences, as well as the value of using "showing"...
Students will learn techniques to conquer their writing challenges: "I can't come up with ideas!" or "I don't know where to begin!" or "I just can't think of any details..." In this class, students will discover 5 simple ways to go from: "I can't do this!" to "Let's do another one!"

Homework in this class will be optional, but encouraged. Each suggested assignment should take no longer than 10 or 15 minutes (or longer if your child wants to be extra creative!)提供的評估
There will be no formal assessment in this class. The only assessment will be parent-led, your simple observation of your child's progress from session 1 until session 3.提供的成績
