I LOVE teaching writing! I have been teaching people to write for the past ten years, mostly as a college professor but also in high school programs and after school programs for elementary students. Writing is my passion because I think that it gives people the opportunity to have their voice heard and see their thoughts in a way that allows them to become clearer thinkers with more confidence in their ideas. 

My teaching philosophy is that everyone can write because everyone has something to say that’s worth hearing. I have worked with college students in classes ranging from remedial to honors, and my philosophy is the same: treat students with respect, value what they have to say, and help them say it well.
