This class explores the FBI’s history in conjunction with other historical events. The progress and development of the FBI as a major law enforcement agency directly correlates with the progress and development of the United States in the 20th Century. This class will focus on this relationship as a way to learn about major events in 20th Century American History. Students will learn about the history of the FBI. In addition, this is will include 20th Century US History, as the FBI's jurisdiction and techniques evolved as the country's needs changed.
I was employed with FBI for 11 years, right out of college and I am extremely proud of my time serving there. During my time there, I learned many things about its history and even worked on some of the major cases that I will be addressing. My education in History and my time as an employee give me a unique perspective to presenting its history.
