Shakespeare did use violence in his plays, and no examination of his works would be complete without them. There is one graphic that details all the deaths with black and white clip art images. 

In one class, we will look at the skeletal remains of King Richard III (not gory). 

Certain facets of Shakespeare's life, notably that his wife was pregnant before marriage, may or may not be mentioned, depending on the maturity of the students and at the teacher's discretion. 

While we will discuss some of the conspiracy theories regarding whether or not Shakespeare wrote his plays, the instructor will reiterate that these are simply for fun discussion and critical thinking. They will not be suggested as valid theories.
