In this one time class, we will learn about the human heart and basic circulation. Students will be able to visualize their pulse during an in class experiment. A second experiment will demonstrate how our heart pumps blood to the rest of our body. We will also be reviewing telling time in increments of hours, minutes, and seconds. I am an interactive teacher! I love hands-on learning! I will use powerpoint, short videos and hands-on experiments to teach these concepts. I want class...
Students will understand how to find their pulse and how exercise/moving around can increase it. They will learn about how blood flows through the heart and the basic anatomy of the circulatory system. Students will also learn about time including hours, minutes and seconds.
