Is English your second language? Would you like to improve your English language skills? In this fun and interactive one-on-one ongoing class, your learner will practice English speaking skills through listening, speaking, reading and writing. 

I have been teaching ESL (English as a Second Language) online classes for over 5 years. I have taught over 4,000 classes and have met over 700 amazing students from across the globe.

In each class, I will start by asking questions like - 

What is your name? 
How are you? 
How old are you? 
Where are you from?
What did you do today? 

These questions will spark a conversation between me and your learner. We will talk about their interests and activities. I also encourage students to bring something from their house to show me each week. 

We will follow slides and practice pronunciation. I will focus on repetition and give positive encouragement. We will also spend time in conversational practice. 

In each class we will:

- Start with introductions and questions
- Learn new vocabulary words and grammar
- Practice reading words in short sentences
- Practice activities to apply learning
- Have conversation practice or play a game

- Family
- School
- Home 
- Neighborhood
- Feelings
- Animals
- Foods
- Colors
- Letters / Numbers

Our first class will help me get to know your learner and determine their level. There are four levels:

Level 1:
These classes are for beginners who know little to no English or cannot read English. We will focus on learning new vocabulary words, sight words, phonics, short sentences, and numbers. Your child will learn how to sound out words and read short sentences on their own.

Level 2:
These classes are for beginners who know some English and can read some words and short sentences already. We will practice having conversations and learn new vocabulary words and phrases. Your child will learn more challenging words and read longer sentences. 

Level 3:
These classes are for intermediate-level learners who can read longer sentences and stories. We will practice having longer conversations and learn new vocabulary words and phrases. Your child will learn more challenging words, read longer sentences, and we will focus on reading comprehension. 

Level 4: 
These classes are for more advanced learners. We will read higher level texts and focus on more difficult vocabulary words, definitions, reading comprehension, and have discussions.
