This class is designed to help early English students who are just beginning or may be struggling with these foundational concepts of English grammar. We will study nouns, verbs, and adjectives. I will also discuss adverbs if I feel student has a full understanding of the first three. I find that once the student understands verbs and adjectives that he/she grasps adverbs quite well. Students will learn about nouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs and how to identify each one in a sentence. We will use these four parts of speech to identify and label (not diagram) sentences.
