Welcome to our exciting Science class, specifically designed for preschoolers and kindergarteners! Students will learn about classifying living and non-living things through a story and activities with the teacher. In the lesson, the meaning of living and non-living will be discussed, and several examples will be given for each. We will provide a video (no more than 20 mins) and a captivating game that is related to the topic These will be a great way to reinforce the key concepts and ideas covered in the lesson. In addition, we will include an activity sheet at the end of each lesson, which will involve cut-and-paste tasks. These activities will help our young learners to extend their knowledge beyond the classroom and develop their fine motor skills. Hey there! I'm excited to share that I have a Master's Degree in Elementary Education and spent a wonderful 10 years teaching in a public school. I had the pleasure of teaching 6th grade for 5 years and then taught in a 3rd grade classroom for the last 5 years. In my classes, I used small groups and tailored instruction to meet the diverse needs of my students.
I'm really passionate about encouraging reading for fun and for learning. I truly believe that when students have a solid foundation in reading, learning becomes a whole lot easier. And you know what? Math has now become my new favorite subject to teach! I love coming up with different ways to help struggling learners and to challenge those who are stronger in math. I firmly believe that by making math and reading enjoyable, we can inspire a love for learning that lasts a lifetime.
On top of that, I'm also incredibly fortunate to be able to stay at home with my amazing 5-year-old triplets every day. They are an absolute joy!
