三年級數學夏令營-練習以保存它！

In this class, students will enjoy learning 3rd-grade math skills.  Some of the skills we will work on are Multiplication, Word Problems, Place Value and Dividing, and other 3rd-grade math skills.  
Through each positive and interactive lesson, students will become more confident learners. 

This class is also great for 2nd graders who need a challenge or 4th graders who need to review 3rd-grade skills.  

The class will start with 3 times tables as a warm up activity then the students will learn or review the topic through an interactive lesson with the teacher.  Students will finish by practicing different problems independently and with the class. A link to times tables flashcards will be posted in the classroom.  This will give the students an opportunity to practice their times tables outside of class.  


This class will start on Monday, August 19 and finish on the 29th. We will not meet on Friday, Saturday or Sunday. It's a 2 week class meeting for 4 days each week. 

Operations & Algebraic Thinking

Week 1 
Day 1-Monday
Learning multiplications through arrays 
Rounding numbers to the nearest 10 to 100

Day 2-Tueday
Adding and subtracting 3 digit numbers
2 step word problems with addition and subtraction

Day 3- Wednesday 
Telling time to the nearest minute
Word problems involving time/addition and subtraction of time

Day 4-Thursday
Using a number line to add and subtract 3 digit numbers
Simple division working with the 2 and 3 times tables. 

Day 5-Monday
Fact Family with multiplication and division 
Word Problems with multiplication 

Day 6
Strategies to solve multiplication problems 
Finding the missing sign (+,-,x,/) to make each side equal

Day 7
Using different strategies to divide 
Review-Teacher picked skill that student struggles with on previous lessons

Day 8 
Fun Interactive Review Game!
