課堂經歷
Do you love dancing to your favorite songs? Maybe you and your friends have fun making up dance routines?! In this class learners will be able to explore different elements of choreography. We will learn a NEW dance routine each class. Learners will also have the opportunity to be creative and add some freestyle! *All music used will be age appropriate and change weekly*. Learners can request songs for dance routines. Message me if their is a song your learner would love to learn some dance steps to. *This is an ongoing class but we will be learning a NEW routine every class. Jump in at any time! *Learners will be asked to stay MUTED unless they have raised their hand for a question/comment or the Teacher has called on them to contribute. This is to eliminate background noise and be sure everyone can hear the music.

Movement & Dance- Your child will learn the basics of dance choreography while practicing musicality and listening skills. Dance movements are excellent for improving mobility, balance and coordination!Dance helps with focus, discipline and following guided directions. They will practice listening and working with others as everyone contributes and expresses their ideas for that days dance.其他詳情

Please provide a safe space for your child to learn. Do not have class on a slippery floor or where things can be bumped or broken.
*Wear comfortable clothes!
*You may want a water bottle nearby for a quick water break.
*Safety first! Although learners will be encouraged to be creative however Gymnastics moves will not be allowed- Mainly: Tumbling, handstands, flips etc.
*I LOVE suggestions! Message me if their is a song your learner would like to learn a dance to. Maybe it will make it into class!
*Learners will be asked to stay MUTED unless they have raised their hand for a question/comment or the Teacher has called on them to contribute. This is to eliminate background noise and be sure everyone can hear the music.

I have a Bachelors of Science Degree in Dance Performance with a minor in Health Education. In addition, I have been teaching and doing choreography for over 15 years. I was a background dancer in Disney's High School Musical 2. I have worked with all ages teaching ballet, jazz, tap and modern dance and have done the choreography for many musical productions and groups. Since I was young I have LOVED to choreograph and make up fun dance routines.評論
