創意寫作 - 學習自學短篇小說寫作

In this 4 week course each student will learn how to write a short story.  I will put a video in the class each week that will go over important information and tips to help the creative process.  Each week there will be a new piece of homework to help the process of creating a short story. The student will learn how to use their imaginations to create a story idea.  One technique I will use to foster creativity will be journaling to get the student ideas focused.  Each lesson will build upon the previous lesson. Your student will be able to share their ideas in classroom and get feedback and help each week as they work towards the end goal of their finished short story.  As an English major in college I loved creative writing.  I taught creative writing during my career as a high school English teacher.  I am currently writing a novel.  I decided to offer this self-paced version of my popular creative writing class to help young writers find a love for creative writing no matter their schedule. I had so many parents and students all over the world requesting times that I was unable to teach so I wanted to make this version available. I like to have fun in class.  I am laid back but structured.  I feel the best way to engage students is to keep learning fun.  My goal is that your student will develop a love for creative writing and have a short story they have written to fuel their passion for writing in the years to come.
