Boost creativity, vocabulary, sensory awareness, calming, creativity, confidence, and critical thinking with these clear and concise haiku lessons especially engaging for gamers. Interest led writing inspired by favorite games. Learn about syllables and increase sensory observation of the setting within favorite games. Improve focus through this concise format of poetry. English Language Arts skills inspired by gaming. This course prioritizes creativity and confidence by not focusing on spelling, punctuation, or grammar. I am Minecraft Education Edition certified and a highly experienced and actively certified educator with a Master of Science: Curriculum and Instruction VI degree in Education and multiple active teaching certifications including School Library Media Technology Specialist (PreK-12th grade), English Language Arts multiple certifications across multiple grade ranges (5-9, 6-12), and more.
I homeschool my own young Minecrafter and am an avid Minecrafter and Roblox player myself. I am also Minecraft Education Edition certified.
As a neurodivergent person myself, homeschooling my own neurodivergent young Minecraft learner, I design my courses to be inclusive and accessible. I continuously seek to be affirming and empowering towards every learner in every class.
