Students LOVE writing about horses in this class! This descriptive writing class pairs students' interest in horses with developing creative writing skills in a small group setting. (Some experience with horses can an asset). I have combined my nearly 20 years of teaching experience in a classroom with my passion for creative writing and horses to design this engaging class. I am a certified and experienced English and History teacher (20 years in a classroom) and I have owned and ridden horses most of my life. Before becoming a teacher, I worked as an equestrian coach. I have taught creative writing for many years and have had some work published myself. Many of my students have had their creative pieces published and have won writing awards.
