In this one week summer camp, students will learn how to write creatively, freewrite, create a story and publish their own story on Book Creator! Students will learn about the elements of a story and the writing process. Students will learn about writing elements including descriptive writing, dialogue, tenses and point of view. Each day students will do different freewriting exercises to develop their writing. Students will: brainstorm story ideas, plan their story using a template,...
Students will improve their understanding of creative writing and will have the opportunity to write their own piece of writing. Students will have the opportunity to share creative ideas with peers. Students will be able to write their own creative story following the writing process.
I will supply a story template where learners can write their story.
