If you have a child who is excited to learn American Sign language, you are in the right place. American Sign Language is a living, visual language used by the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community. It is recognized as a "foreign language" in the United States and satisfies the requirements for a foreign language in grades 7-12. In this 8 week course, we will build new vocabulary each week and learn how to use it conversationally. Fingerspelling is an integral part of American Sign Language....
Students will have a firm grasp of a large base of vocabulary words and be able to use them to communicate in ASL. This will provide a nice foundation for any student who wishes to continue learning the language.

Each student will be asked to practice fingerspelling, vocabulary words and practice sentences for a minimum of 10-15 minutes each day. Doing this will help the student retain the information and increase their signing speed and accuracy.0 - 1 每週課外時間
