ASL for beginners is an exciting and interactive class for children who want to learn Sign Language! During this course children will learn the following signs: - The Alphabet - How to Count from 1-100 - Their colors - Animals - Food - Emotions - Family - Places - Clothes - Time - Health - Grammar - Classifiers - Grammar - Translations - All 50 States - Travels - Ocean Life - Farm Life - Rooms/Furniture - Around the neighborhood - Weather - Holidays - Requests - Adjectives and Verbs - They Will Each Learn to Fingerspell Their Names - Requests - please, excuse, thank you, help, who, what, when, where, why, how, stop - Learn conversations and questions such as, "My name is _______", "What is your name?", "Where is the bathroom?", "How are you?", and TONS more!! - The students will also work on conversational skills, grammar, classifiers, and translation practice. This course will be tons of fun!!! We will meet once a week for a 10 weeks, one semester. This course is my Part 1 and Part 2 classes combined and is a more intensive learning course, we learn a lot in each lesson throughout this course and students are expected to do their part by practicing and reviewing the class recording each week. I am always available to questions throughout the week as well! No previous knowledge of ASL is needed! Minimal knowledge is ASL is fine as well! I am looking forward to learning, laughing, and signing with your children soon!! Class policy: Each student must have a camera on during this so that I can help them with the correct hand-forms and locations, this is an essential part of learning in this course. Student's will also be engaging and practicing their ASL signs with conversations and their hands must be seen for this. If the student does not want their face seen, they may angle the camera to only show their hands.

Introductions, Alphabet, Numbers
Students will introduce themselves, learn how to fingerspell their names and introduce themselves, they will also learn the alphabet and numbers. 50 分鐘線上直播課

Colors, Animals, and Food
During this lesson, students will learn the animal signs and how to properly describe animals using ASL grammar. We will also learn food, money, and shopping vocabulary and sentences. 50 分鐘線上直播課
課 3:
Grammar and Family
This class will be focused on the basics of ASL grammar. With that, the students will learn time concepts, question words, and family topics. We will begin translating sentences and having conversations in ASL. 50 分鐘線上直播課
課 4:
Emotions and Clothing
During this class, students will learn about emotions and the importance of facial expressions. We will also learn about clothing and the proper order that we describe clothes in ASL grammar. 50 分鐘線上直播課

I took courses at Gallaudet University, have my double certificate in ASL from International Open Academy, and am involved in the Deaf community in my area. I love teaching, ASL, and reading! I am excited to expand my knowledge to your children through this exciting course!
