This 3-week class is designed to help students prepare for the AP Language and Composition exam. Day 1: Rhetorical Analysis Students will review the rhetorical situation and rhetorical choices by working through a practice prompt. Students will also practice writing a defensible thesis and outlining an essay. Students may write the essay outside of class and submit it for feedback (up to one week after the final class.) Students will learn how to write the 3 types of essays on the AP Lang exam.
I have taught AP Lang for 5 years and have served as an AP reader. I also post AP Lang tutorial videos under the handle Coach Hall Writes on YouTube.
