In this one-time class taught by a Latina of Mexican heritage, we are going to debunk several misconceptions about the Cinco de Mayo holiday. Ms. Sara is an educational consultant with three years of live teaching experience and has a Master's Degree in Elementary Education. She is very passionate about her Latina/e/o/x culture, heritage, and representation.
Students are welcome to take notes on their computers. If needed, the teacher can provide a PDF of the powerpoint slides in advance.
