聖誕假期讀書俱樂部大聲朗讀故事倒數 FLEX

Join familiar and beloved storybook characters plus meet some new ones as we read our way to Christmas Day.  Each day, I will post three videos to the classroom where I unwrap virtual giftboxes - to find out which book we will be reading. Then I will share each story in an engaging read aloud where I display the pictures on my screen for students to follow along.

I will also provide the students with a fun printable Christmas countdown calendar so we can mark off the days together and count our way to Christmas.

In addition to our daily books, students will engage in a Christmas show and tell activity.  Students will post pictures and videos to answer the prompts and share with one another.  I will also share my answers to these questions and respond to each student with a personalized response.

Discussion questions include: 
🎄 Decorations! Share photos or videos or write and tell us all about the Christmas decorations at your house from trees to trains to stockings to wreaths and anything in between.

🎶 Watch and Sing! Tell us all about your favorite Christmas movies and songs. You can even act out a clip or sing us a song.

🍫 Sweet Treats! Show us some of the delicious goodies you have on hand as you celebrate the holidays from cookies to cakes to peppermint bark to hot cocoa and anything in between. 

🎁 Presents! Show and tell about a great gift you have received in the past and/or give us a sneak peek of a special item you plan to give to someone else.
