透過 Minecraft 建構、遊戲、活動進行乘法練習 趣味數學

If you love to build inside Minecraft, this is your chance to show off your skills and work on multiplication at the same time. This class is great practice for students who are already familiar with the concept of multiplication and also an engaging introduction to the concepts of multiplication for students who are just getting started.

Each week I will provide 2 videos detailing our multiplication projects and activities. Here is our weekly schedule for the course.
Day 1: Video lesson where I model creative and engaging multiplication builds in my Minecraft world
Day 2-4: Students create their own multiplication builds using my demonstration, the prompt and their own creativity, then share with me in the classroom
Day 5: Video lesson where I introduce Minecraft themed hands-on practice project or activity for the multiplication facts of the week
Day 6-7:  Students complete hands on project and share with me in the classroom

For the weekly Minecraft build, I will also have students use the book and quill and sign features to type out the multiplication tables. This provides yet another level of hands-on practice.

Finally, in addition to all these builds and activities, I will introduce students to my favorite multiplication resources and games for practice on abcya.com - a free and fun site that requires no account to play. 

Students can use any version of the Minecraft game to participate in this class. Students will NOT be playing in the same server or realm together. They will not need to share gamertags. Each student will work individually on their own device. All levels of Minecraft players from beginner to advanced will have the skills needed to complete the builds.
