Want to learn a variety easy and fun poetry forms in one week? Each day of 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽 𝗣𝗼𝗲𝘁𝗿𝘆, the learners will hear and see the poem being taught that day. The teacher will then break down the format of the poem explaining in more detail the types of words or ideas used in the lines and stanzas. After an engaging interactive slideshow, the learners will then practice together to build a poem. Finally, each learner will write their own poem. The teacher will always be there for guidance as needed....

As the week ends, the learners will have had experience reading and writing the presented poetry forms.
Students may bring a notebook and pen/pencil if they prefer that over the computer.

The class uses "nearpod" for quick assessments, class interaction, and learning activities. The web address for students is: nearpod.com/student. I will share the code needed with the learners as class begins. Prior to class, if your child has not used "nearpod," you might consider viewing this YouTube video from "nearpod."
