**This class is a "Part 2" of my Beginner Violin Camp and is meant for students who have completed the first course OR have already learned Twinkle through Go Tell Aunt Rhody and are at the Suzuki Book 1 level. If your student is a complete beginner, please enroll in my Introduction to the Violin classes first. If you are not sure what level your student should be in, please feel free to sign up for a private trial lesson and I will recommend a level.**

Do you already know the basics of playing the violin and want to learn some new music in a fun and engaging environment with other friends your age? Maybe you're looking for a fun supplement to your private lessons? Well, you're in the right place. I am a professional, conservatory-trained violinist and I absolutely love to share my love of music with my students. My class sizes are kept intentionally small to ensure effective interaction with each learner. This class pairs very well with private lessons. PREREQUISITES:
-Must have a violin in playable condition
          *If your violin does not already have finger tapes, please message me BEFORE class begins
-Students should already have basic experience playing the violin or have completed my Intro to Violin courses and Beginner Violin Camp Part 1. 
-This class will focus on Suzuki Book 1 level pieces, so the student must already be able to play at that level if they have not completed my prior courses. 
-The ability to read music is helpful but not a requirement. We will work on this skill during the class and I will provide music with color-coded fingering for those who need extra help. 

In this exciting Violin Camp, beginning violin students will continue their studies while improving technique, tone production, musicality, and overall setup and beginning to learn how to read music. I will choose the specific songs and exercises for each week of the camp based on enrollment and the general level of our group and will adjust the pace as needed. I may adjust the material according to the needs of the students enrolled. 

The structure of the camp is designed to be fast-paced while still giving the learner a chance to practice what we have covered in class that day and let the new material settle in. Here is a sample breakdown of what the camp may look like. Again, it is my goal for every child to leave the camp feeling confident, empowered, and proud of their accomplishments. To this end, I may adjust the pace and material according to the needs of the group, whether that means covering more or less material. 

SAMPLE SCHEDULE
Class 1: Ice breaker. Review Twinkle, Lightly Row and Song of the Wind. 
Class 2: Begin Go Tell Aunt Rhody
Class 3: Review Rhody and learn about dynamics
Class 4: Finish Rhody and begin exercises for O Come Little Children 
Class 5: Learn about crescendos and diminuendos, start 3rd piece if time
Class 6: Review and final recital
