小提琴輔導：鈴木第一冊

In these one-on-one classes, your student will be guided through the repertoire of Suzuki Book 1. These pieces are curated to cover a wide variety of violin techniques, to ensure a solid technical and musical foundation. 

While exploring these pieces, we will cover proper violin set up and care, posture and instrument hold, bowing, fingering, tone production, dynamics, and more. Games and finger exercises to support proper hand position will be taught. We will work on producing a clear, melodious tone and practice accurate finger placement for good tuning. A variety of bowstrokes will be introduced, including slurs, legato, staccato, and marcato. Whether your student is a brand new beginner or has previous violin experience, I will meet them where they are at, provide personalized practice plans, and make sure our lesson times are both productive and fun!

I will demonstrate all the skills taught on my own violin and the student will be able to demonstrate what they are learning on their violin, as well as ask questions. Thus, the one-on-one classes will require the student’s camera and microphone to be on. 

Lessons are most productive when supplemented by students listening to Suzuki Book 1 recordings in their own time.
