Organizing an essay can be tough, but with the bing, bang, bongo method, writing and organizing a 5 paragraph essay is a breeze! In this 4 week course, students will learn how to write 5 cohesive paragraphs focused on one topic with three main points, an introduction, and a conclusion. By the end of this course, students will have a polished, well-structured essay. Students will learn how to organize a 5 paragraph essay. They will learn what a thesis statement is and how to write topic sentences. Students will learn to use transition words throughout their essays. They will also learn the specifics of introductions and conclusions.
I am a licensed English teacher for students in grades 5-12. I spent 4 years in a public school classroom teaching essay writing.

Students will be writing one essay throughout the entire course. Week 1 may take a little longer because they will write the majority of their essay then. They should take time on the revisions in the following weeks, and I will know if they don't. I don't anticipate that this class will take up much more than an hour each week.1 - 2 每週課外時間
