每週 1-2 小時. Each Wednesday I post either a tip video to help improve drawing, or an interactive video custom to the class. Where I ask a few questions and the students respond during the week with either a written note posted to the classroom, or via a video response. This helps stimulate more interaction between students, and with the teacher.我們無法翻譯此文,請刷新頁面並再試一次。

Welcome to The Painting Panda Classroom: Learn to draw BASIC Pokémon part 4! This is a Flex class, meaning NO LIVE CLASSES, you sign up and then watch the videos as your schedule allows, participate in the classroom discussion, ask any question you want, and share your work as you complete each project. We have already covered a bunch of cool pokemon in Parts 1, 2, 3 of this class series. So are you ready for the next set of amazing Pokemon? I am! Now for some new exciting pokemon, perhaps ones you may not know as well, or perhaps you do know these pokemon well! You don't want to miss this class as we're stepping up our drawing skills! I will post my instruction videos, my step-by-step videos by week each Monday no later than 5pm EST. On Wednesdays it is peer and teacher interaction day for fun extra games like “ Who’s that Pokémon?”, Who am I ?, Pokémon weakness games. Plus weekly video clips of everyone sharing their Pokémon cards, toys, and other items. I'll check into class to see how everyone is doing through specific questions I post to the classroom, I will also post any tips videos relevant to that week's project, Pokemon passion item Show and Tells (with images or video clips), and or interactive video clip. Also for Wednesday’s, I have created an interactive classroom specifically designed to help give students more interaction with each other and myself outside of our drawing projects. The classroom will have a variety of video clips I've created, found on youtube, or Q&A, or FAQs I've created. Parents please read the parent guidance section for this class, as students will need your approval to participate with this classroom. Friday is our Art Show and Tell day, this means that students upload an image or video clip of their art work directly to the classroom on this day, and then comment on at least one other classmate's art in a polite, positive manner. I will do a video about how to offer supportive, encouraging, but meaningful advise from classmate to classmate. On Fridays I'll check into class to see finished projects from students (that they have uploaded to class), and give simple feedback. I will not be doing formal assessments during this time, but rather will be teaching students how to have positive peer led review opportunities. This is of course optional if there is a student that really doesn't feel comfortable doing so, however it is also highly encouraged with this type of participation. I do also give my own engaging words of wisdom, tips, and praise to each individual student who shares their art in our classroom. Sunday's are my off days, and I won't respond to anything on this day. This is of course based off my location in North Carolina USA in the EST zone. Since this is a 4 week course, with 2 projects per week, plus interactive requirements, if your child needs more time to work on projects, please contact me to work something out. Please use the parent email option or the child's email option, do not post personal information or questions in the classroom as that is a child friendly place. For each week we will focus on 2 Pokémon to draw together as a class! Each Pokémon will have their own step-by-step video you'll be able to watch how ever many times, at whatever time you want. I'll be showing different Basic techniques for drawing that Pokémon (outline, coloring, light shading and basic cartoon styles, depending on the week). We will cover many types of Pokémon, basics/ classics first, with the first week doing my personal favorite Pokémon. Since this is a drawing class, a Pokémon journal would be perfect to keep all the drawings in. You can easily buy a 8x10 (or similar size) spiral bound drawing pad (blank paper). For the rest of the supplies please see the list posted below. Here is the list of Pokemon we'll be covering for this class: Week 1: Ninetales, Oricorio, Week 2: Dragonite, Altaria, Week 3: Grumpig, Spoink, Week 4: Poliwrath, Mamoswine, Check out my next Pokémon class for more amazing Basic Pokémon!
學習目標
Learn how to draw basic shapes so we can turn them into characters
Learn how to add animation characteristics to characters
Learn how to do basic level shading
Learn how to color fill a character smoothly, and with visual texture
Learn how to find joy in your art even though it may not seem "perfect"
Learn how to be a great classmate/peer by sharing your positive/ polite comments on their art
Each week you will learn how to draw step-by-step each pokemon character listed. As I'm teaching basic drawing skills, it is important that learners are already comfortable with the knowledge of how to draw: shapes, and letters from the American English alphabet.

Hi parents,
I have created a really fun interactive classroom through google sheets for one of our extra parts to class. This classroom has images of my own watercolor art that the students get to click on for a fun game or video. The videos are links to youtube videos (some are my own, and others are from kid friendly watercolor themed resources). I have done everything on my end to remove ads, however if you need to do something on your end to remove ads, or stop other videos from playing after the initial one I have linked please have those settings already in place, otherwise you can view along side your child. This is an optional extra your child can participate in, that is really fun.
Parents I have very important rules, directions and instructions in the very first post in the classroom after you sign up a student, please read them with your student so you understand what my expectations are.

教師專業知識和證書
When I started The Painting Panda, I wanted to offer a variety of art classes to many different ages of all children. My boys love LOVE love Pokémon, and we've been learning to draw them, play the games, watch the shows, and follow Ash and his friends as they become Pokémon trainers for a few years now. I'm so excited to offer a class where we can all learn to draw our favorite characters, and find out how to draw in different techniques as well. These Pokémon drawing classes are now my most popular classes, and due to demand I physically cannot keep up with the requests for more classes. This flex option I am hoping will help everyone I can't teach physically.
This has been one of my more popular classes I've offered to my local Homeschool group, local community during the summer, and even with my family private lessons. I love teaching drawing classes for kids, especially pokemon themed as my own kids love pokemon. My favorite part about teaching art classes is when I get to see the world through the eyes of the students by viewing their interpretations of the assignments I give them in class.
As mentioned in my teacher profile I have 10 years of experience teaching early education pre-K classes, in both North Carolina and Utah. I have been able to use my degrees in Visual Arts with a focus on Art History from NCSU and my Associate in Arts from Wake Tech Community College, to teach kids and adults: various art classes here in North Carolina for the past 7 years. With my scouting connections I have had 5 years experience teaching science and history classes in North Carolina and Florida. Whether it was as a Co-Op teacher for my local home school groups, Art merit Badge Counselor for the local Boy Scout clinic, teaching STEAM classes for Cub Scouts, Nail art and Jewelry Crafting to teenage girls in my church, or summer art classes through my business, The Painting Panda, I love being able to share what I have learned!
