Our main class goal is to show students that Shakespeare is for EVERYONE! We will spend time analyzing Shakespeare's words to make sure everyone has a complete understanding of the work in front of them. Students will leave class with a clearer view on who Shakespeare was and the literature he produced. An additional goal of this class is to build student's confidence with public speaking and group interactions. Acting has always been a great way to get people to open up and have fun. This opportunity is made endless with the help of Shakespeare's colorful language and larger than life characters. 

I have been in the world of performing arts since I was barely three years old. Since then I have done countless plays, musicals, films, and much more. Shakespeare has always been a love of mine, and I have studied if for years. My training in Shakespeare began at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts (LACHSA), where classical training was an intense part of our curriculum. This lead me to joining The Independent Shakespeare Company, based in Los Angeles, where I was not only able to perform Shakespeare, but also begin teaching his work to students. After graduating from UCLA, where I got my BA in theater, I have continued to both perform and teach Shakespeare across the US.
