Students will learn how to measure dry ingredients and why it is important to measure correctly. 
Students will learn why certain ingredients are important to the recipe.

Measuring spoons Measuring cups (both metal and glass) Square 8"x8" or 9"x9" baking pan Mixing spoon Two mixing bowls Apron (optional) 1/2 cup butter melted sugar vanilla 2 eggs all purpose flour unsweetened cocoa powder baking powder salt chocolate chips A full recipe will be provided to all enrolled students.
Parents will be asked to help students with the oven after the class. The recipe being used is not allergy free and includes wheat, eggs, dairy and chocolate.
