Deciding on the right college or university is hard, but campus tours can help students and their families narrow down their choices. In this one-time class, students will learn about important things to look out for while touring schools, what questions to ask their tour guides, and where to look for more information after their on-campus experience at each institution they visit. This course will include a lecture accompanied by a PowerPoint presentation followed by time for questions....
Students will improve their knowledge of higher education in order to prepare for college/university tours.
I currently work at a state university, and I am working on my master's in Higher Education. While I was in my undergrad, I was the student manager for the orientation program and I trained the orientation leaders as tour guides.
