This class is part of a series of classes meant to provide opportunities for students to review and practice math concepts taught in high school Algebra 1. This class is the first of the series. Below is a list of concepts that we will be covering during this course. Days 1 and 2: Evaluating Variable Expressions with Integers and Rational Numbers, and Writing and Simplifying Variable Expressions Days 3 and 4: Identifying Equivalent Equations, Writing Variable Equations, and Solving One-Step and Two-Step Equations Days 5 and 6: Solving Equations with Variables on Both Sides, Re-Writing Multi-Variable Equations, and Solving Absolute Value Equations Days 7 and 8: Solving and Graphing One-Step and Two-Step Inequalities, and Solving and Graphing Compound Inequalities Please note that this is a multi-day class with a set schedule. Please review the entire schedule before enrolling, as missed classes will not be rescheduled or refunded. Thank you!

Hello! I have been teaching in the public school setting for the past fifteen years, and tutoring privately for the past six years.
