In this weekly ongoing class, we will practice double-digit and triple-digit addition and subtraction with regrouping. These are important skills that can often be challenging. We will work together in a supportive environment, where making mistakes are seen as important for learning and we make adding and subtracting fun! Learners love to make estimates before we solve problems, which helps with mental math skills as well as class engagement. I encourage learner interaction but will not force it. I want every learner in my classes to feel comfortable and welcome. The class topic remains the same each week. Learners can join for one week or stay as many weeks as they'd like! Week of April 17: Addition and subtraction with regrouping Week of April 24: Addition and subtraction with regrouping Week of May 1: Addition and subtraction with regrouping Week of May 8: Addition and subtraction with regrouping This class works best with at least 2 learners. If the minimum number of learners has not been met 30 hours before class, the class may be cancelled or postponed. Class recordings: I do not share recordings of my group classes in order to protect the privacy of all learners, as many parents do not feel comfortable with other families having access to videos that include their child.
