Being able to tackle and solve multiplication word problems are essential skills for any 3rd grade student. Students often feel uneasy when beginning to learn how to solve multiplication problems, however, with 5 simple strategies in their toolbox, they will feel confident when approaching any problem. In this class students will learn how to understand and apply the strategies of repeated addition, arrays, equal groups, base 10, and expanded form in one short week. My teaching style is...
